Description

During the first part of the session, participants will review the easyCBM Proficient Math (Prof Mth) assessment tool, discuss the process of administering the assessment both in person and virtually, and learn about best practices for consistent administration and data collection. 
We will then transition to learn more about the Next Generation Learning Standards, and the Instructional Focus and Fluency Charts for planning purposes.

The content in this presentation is geared towards serving the migrant populations in New York State as defined under Title I, Part C and the approved State Service Delivery Plan, and may NOT be appropriate to all situations.

Andrea FaoroWe have a guest presenter joining us as well, Andrea Faoro, from the State Education Department (SED). Andrea is an Associate in Instructional Services for Mathematics in the Office of Standards and Instruction (OSI). Andrea has been with NYSED for four years and is the liaison for all math teachers (PreK-12) in New York State. Prior to joining OSI, Andrea was a secondary math teacher at Schodack CSD in Castleton, NY. She taught at Schodack for eight years and taught at Hudson Valley Community College as an adjunct instructor.
