Cornell Farmworker Program

 The Cornell Farmworker Program continues to add COVID-19 information for farmworkers to their website.


Worker Justice Center of New York (WJCNY)

The Worker Justice Center of New York produced  COVID-19 Health and Safety Training Materials for Farm & Food Processing Workers. The curriculum is intended to be used widely by community health educators, advocates, organizers and grassroots leaders to empower farm and food processing workers to better protect themselves, their coworkers, and their communities against COVID-19.


Prevent Child Abuse New York

During this difficult time, we are all facing challenges that seem daunting and that we may feel unprepared for. The  NYS Resource Guide For CAREGIVERS - Caring For Your Family During the COVID-19 Crisis is intended to help navigate life with children through the pandemic and the days that follow. The Five Protective Factors serve to mitigate the negative impacts of trauma. The Guide is organized by each Factor:

  4. Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development

Resources for NYS-MEP Parents and Families

Throughout the pandemic, teams of Recruiters and Migrant Educators developed resources to support parents and families. These resources are in the Parent and Family Library.


Resources for Farmers and Farmworkers

The New York State Migrant Education Program is here to support the farm owner and farmworker community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Information about how to stay healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Referrals to community services, such as migrant health, and support in accessing school district services such as food pick-ups.
  • Virtual instructional services, including English as a Second Language instruction for older workers, and instructional support for school-aged children studying from home.

The National Center for Farmworker Health (NCHF) compiled COVID-19  Educational Resources for Agricultural Workers. You can find videos, audio & radio files, social media resources, and documents for printing in Spanish, Haitian Creole, and indigenous languages such as Triqui, Mam, and Mixteco.
