DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the 2023-24 Migrant Education Program (MEP) Kickoff Celebration! This is a time for us to come together and honor all your hard work; to look back to reflect and to celebrate your successes with students and families; and to look forward to the program year ahead with high hopes and expectations working with our migrant students and their families!
Joining us at this kickoff are Assistant Commissioner Theresa Billington and Bureau Chief Erica Meaker; from the State Education Department (SED).
We invite you to join us, together as a team, at this event with friends and colleagues from SED, the Statewide Support Team (SST), ID&R-TASC, and the eight regional METS program centers to celebrate “You” and to recognize our partners who work so selflessly alongside us to ensure that the needs of all migratory children are met.
Let’s kick off the start of the 2023-24 program year with a BANG!
