Description

This interactive, 1.5-hour discussion time is an opportunity to hear from a panel of four Migrant Educators, who work at various METS across NY State, as they share their experiences working with adolescent students and help them think about their hopes, dreams, and goals. A variety of strategies and prompts will be provided to workshop participants, helping them to engage in future goal-setting work with their adolescent students. After the panel presentations, participants will have an opportunity to discuss challenges and new ideas in breakout rooms with a community of their peers.

The content in this presentation is geared towards serving the migrant populations in New York State as defined under Title I, Part C and the approved State Service Delivery Plan, and may NOT be appropriate to all situations.
