The Fredonia METS Program Center at SUNY Fredonia is hiring two part-time team members, each working up to 20 hours per week.
ID&R identifies and recruits migrant children (0-22 years old) throughout the state for educational and support service programs offered by the New York State Migrant Education Program. ID&R is critical because, often, the most mobile children are the most in need, and the most difficult to find.

The Research Foundation for SUNY, a private nonprofit educational organization, is accepting applications for a full-time Northeast Migrant Education Program Director (Principal Investigator). NMEP supports the educational needs of farmworkers and their children in St. Lawrence, Franklin, Clinton, and Essex Counties. The Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for a comprehensive educational program that offers academic support, enrichment activities, and youth development services during the school year and summer months. The program also serves adolescents, school dropouts, and families through advocacy and support initiatives.
The Director is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating all program services in collaboration with staff, parents, and community stakeholders. This position oversees the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of program staff and facilitates ongoing professional development focused on effective pedagogy, instructional best practices, and student success.
