As staff schedules and student desire permits, NYS-MEP Recruiters deliver an initial mini lesson to out-of-school-youth (OSY) when completing a Certificate of Eligibility (COE). This helps set the stage for working with a Migrant Educator. However, the mini lessons are not just for Recruiters! Migrant Educators are welcome to use them as well, based on students' needs.
Four of the mini-lessons have been adapted to be delivered in a virtual format, while others are written to be delivered in-person. Please see the descriptions below. You may download the lessons under Book Resource Files.
