(2021) The NYS Migrant Education Program seeks to increase capacity with migrant educators working with adolescents, 5th-12th grade students, and across staff working with in-school adolescents to apply meaningful tools to promote resilience during uncertain times.

Social media usage is one of the most popular online activities, and in 2019, 79 percent of the population in the United States had a social networking profile. Learn how to harness social media to reach out to the populations you serve, work to get referrals, and help spread the word about the Migrant Education Program. This presentation will share concrete ideas as to how to get started today.

One activity demonstration includes showing Educators how to use your own materials to create a lesson AND how to keep your students tuned-in!
